The Cosa Nostra is growing much stronger and much differently in Sicily. They have slashed there payment rates of their "clients" in turn this has seriously expanded its client base.

In recent years since the arrests of many of their men; (namely the "boss of bosses" Salvatore Riina, and his right hand man Leoluca Bagarella) this has helped immerge the new "Pax Mafiosa" they have stopped the killing of enemy's, - police, and politicians, and even their own. it seems that they have changed their business strategy.

the new strategy has been to absorb exorbiant rates, but to cast there protection net further even to small shop keepers.

Dont get me wrong. they still kill people who dont come up with there monthly "pizzo". The word for: "protection payment" in itallian.
