this is an email from one of the two coolest Kiwi's i have ever met Ratty the crazy lesbian.
hi ya,
ya wee roots well I'm sorry it's a group email but sometimes it gotta be done. So it seems that for now and the next 2 to 3 months I'm gonna be hanging out in Vancouver, I think that I'm gonna stay at this Seafood restuarant and also work at my room mate Alanis's work which is Vegetarian and Vagan food, so I can save some money to go to Boston and New York for Xmas and New years, I'm trying to get a job on a mountain for snowboarding season, and do that for a couple of months then Richard and me are probably gonna catch a bus from New York and go to Quebec before we head off to England, it kinda all depends on money what we're gonna do, cause we need a bit to get into Europe so we'll just have to see.
So I talked to my Ex Kach the other night cause she sounded really keen to still stay friends and i was into that but of course it didn't end up being the case we talked for about 10 minutes and it was fine but then it was shitty and she was really pissed at me for staying in Vancouver and not calling her for 4 days or something crazy, so we pretty much said goodbye and have a nice life type thing, why the hell is it so impossible to be friends with ex's?
Well never mind it all happens for a reason and if i never met her i would never be here for now I'll just try and stay out of realationships cause all the good ones are taken or live in other places eg, Hawaii so for now I'll concentrate on other things, like shandy, and speaking of that the other night Richard, Alanis and me went out for a few beverages and we went down Davie st (gay st) and Richard met this H.O.T.E (harsh on the eye) guy who had a wee thing for him, Richard was not best pleased but we walked him back to his car to smoke a J, then he went to get papers and asked us to drive his car around the corner and meet him, which is pretty stupa on his behalf cause he didn't even know us, so Richard is yelling at Alanis to floor it and lets take it, then my fog horn starts up and tells her to go for it and well anyone who know Alanis knows when shes drunk she's easily influenced so we started to head for Seatle, realising after about 15 minutes of driving that this wasn't actually our car and it's highly unlikely we'd beable to cross the border so we turned around and drove home about 30 minutes the other way, and then we left it down the road, so we think that the 3 of us are in for some very bad karma and are now quite scared, it is kinda funny though and who would leave their car with 3 drunks you don't even know? the car was gone in the morning so hopefully he got it back and we didn't damage it or nothing, but I do feel really bad.
Well that's my only exciting crazy story for now and probably at least till tomorrow i miss all of you like crazy and have had such a wicked year so far in Canada last season was so much fun and i can't wait to do it again, it will be hard to beat Fernie and the cool people that we're there, and this summer in Vancouver has been so much fun and everyone I met at the Cambie made my summer so kick ass, and I wish you we're all back here with us, and all my NZ friends you're all wee roots, it suxs not being able to see you every day, refuel is still the coolest bar on earth, and of course wee slappers in England I'll be seeing you soon, well stay best, you're all fantastic and look after you're selves and each other
