This Is The Most Public of My Many Humiliations

Tonite we were the vip guests of the owner of the bottom line. The
nicest sports bar I have ever been too. Technically I don't think you
can consider this a sports bar.
I head outside into the riot that is downtown Toronto. I duck into an alley to load some film into my camera, and throw a proper lenses on.
I run into the melee with 'condonna rhythm for yo mudda'. He is draped in a cannabis flag(Canadian flag with a weed leaf in the middle). There are people everywhere in
the streets, the few bicycle cops there were completely powerless
"You better get outta here before you lose that camera" the say to me.
"What? Fuck you" I say as I take his picture and stroll away. At this
point I can see a fleet of cops on horses. At least 8 of them rolling
west towards my position. They all stop in the middle of the
intersection and start charging at all the people celebrating. The
horses are knocking people down all over the place. This one elderly
man got severely trampled. I was taking pictures of him when some drunk
comes up to me and starts putting his hand in front of my lens.
"You don't need these pictures" the drunk yells. I tell him to fuck off
and push him outta my way. At this point he gets pissed and starts
grabbing at my camera. When the absolute worst thing ever happens. The
back of my camera pops open and all my film is exposed. It was my last
roll of film I had with me. I stated to lose it. I had some amazing
shots on there. Not just of the people celebrating. But of police
brutality. I quickly removed the film from my cam and put the camera
back in its case. I take out my trusty digital pentaxation for
representation. And take a few pics b4 the battery died.
This is when the foot patrol moved in, dressed in their riot gear and sporting zip
ties to hand cuff all the non conformists. I took a pic of them right
b4 my battery died.
I then ran into my friends they were all stumbling down the street heading for the car. My friend who was driving couldn't even walk. I tried to wrestle the keys from him but he got violent.
So me and Stuffenbop said "ft we are taking the train home"
So we walk to union take the train that is 15 mins late leaving the
station. The best night of the week so far just turned out to be the
worst night of the year.
